Congratulations! You're officially married! But guess what?! There is new work to do! If your last name has changed you will need to update that information on the following important documents:

• Driver's license

• Social Security Card

• Employer

• Passport - you have one year to change your name without a fee

• Bank accounts and checks, if applicable

• Credit cards

• Any subscriptions or memberships

• Health insurance company

• Possibly notify family and friends

• Vehicle insurance company

• Social Media platforms

• Plus anything else you can think of that has your name tied to it
