I had the privilege and honor of going to see The Jones Victorian Estate in person. As soon as I reached the mysterious gate, I was entranced. I felt like a guest with a very special pass who was allowed in by invitation only to pass through these magical gates.
As soon as I turned in, I was welcomed by an arbor of trees all holding hands overhead. I slowly drove under their shady canopy, feeling like I was being transported through another time in history.
I followed the sign at the end of the long drive and parked in the gravel lot. As I began walking to the main property, I saw a cute settee, and a white picket fence area with a pretty swing. It was so welcoming. I could have sat down right there and read a book.
As I was walking I saw a glimpse of the house peeking through the trees. It’s beauty took my breath away.
I rounded the corner through the guest entry I could hear soft music playing in the distance. Basically, the equivalence of angel’s singing. I had this initial moment all to myself before Michelle came out to greet me. She is also very lovely.
This magnificent original Victorian House was looking down on me with all of her elegance and glory, then she said Welcome Dear, Please Come In. Let’s Have Some Tea…
Update…this property has been sold and is no longer a wedding venue.
