Showcasing Women and an all Hispanic Team
This couple was very intentional about choosing vendors that were all Hispanic and mostly women. They too are Hispanic and know the importance of representation. They also wanted to represent the cities they grew up in. The church ceremony took place at the Brideโs family church in Eagle Rock, CA and the reception took place at the City Libre in Boyle Heights, where the Groom grew up. I love when couples pull in these types of details with such special meaning. Photography by the talented Lily Tapia. It was an honor to meet and work with her. There were so many amazing people on this Team.
Getting ready began in Downtown Los Angeles at a beautiful, historical hotel. It was the perfect setting for such a beautiful day. There was a First Look at the hotel for the couple and a Father/Daughter First Look at the church.
The City Libre is the perfect setting to represent Los Angeles. It is an outdoor venue with the famous and beautiful LA skyline view. This wedding took place in early October. The colors are a soft fall palette Elegant Chic comes to mind every time I think about this wedding.
For cocktail hour, the guests were serenaded by an all womenโs mariachi band, Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles. The guests had a selection of empanadas to choose from.. Purchased from a local bakery. Mariaโs Mixers provided the bar, water, and coffee station. The main dinner was from a locat Peruvian restaurant. During dancing the guests were treated to a coffee station from Picaresca Cafe. They had drip coffee, lattes, and cafe de olla.
I was truly honored to be part of this amazing team.
